This event features some of the best Plein Air painters from California and the western U.S., who come to Bakersfield for a week and paint urban and rural scenes from around Kern County. The general public is given opportunities to meet the artists and watch them paint. All the fun culminates at the end of the week with a juried Sales Gala, where the paintings are sold amidst a fabulous party.
